The Art of the Piano

Join award-winning Irish pianists Aidan and Dylan Keane for an evening celebrating the beauty, power, and versatility of the piano. Despite their young age, both artists have already achieved remarkable international success, winning top prizes at prestigious competitions across Ireland, Italy, Belgium, Germany, and Spain. They are currently pursuing advanced studies at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and the IMEP Royal Higher Institute of Music in Belgium, and have performed as soloists with orchestras and in major concert venues throughout Europe.

The programme opens with a piano duet performance of Antonín Dvořák’s beloved Slavonic Dance No. 2, before Dylan Keane takes the stage with Bach’s elegant Prelude and Fugue No. 15 in G Major, Beethoven’s spirited “Hunt” Sonata, Liszt’s dramatic and virtuosic Ballade No. 2, Ravel’s colourful and refined Sonatine, and Manuel de Falla’s fiery Ritual Fire Dance.
