
Pádhraic Ó Cuinneagáin
Pádhraic Ó Cuinneagáin studied at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and NUI Maynooth and is a lecturer at TU Dublin Conservatoire, where he has held leadership roles in performance and academic studies. He studied piano with Dr. Mabel Swainson and Louis Kentner, and organ with Fr. Frank McNamara and Professor Gerard Gillen. As a performer, he has appeared as a soloist, accompanist, and chamber musician in Ireland and abroad.
Pádhraic has recorded multiple albums, including Tchaikovsky Songs with Conor Biggs and Beethoven’s Irish Songs Revisited. He has premiered works by Irish composers and collaborated with ensembles such as Concorde. He has adjudicated at major music festivals throughout Ireland and contributed to the Encyclopaedia of Music in Ireland. He is a committee member of the Dublin Philharmonic Society and has served as Vice-Chairman of Feis Ceoil.
